Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDMOND JOSEPH TOUGAS 1916 - 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend at the age of 91, peacefully on the morning of Monday, February 11, 2008, at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, Manitoba. He will be remembered and missed by his children, Béatrice Vermette (Bernard), Gilbert (Solange), Réal (Raymonde), Edouard (Karen), André (Rose) and (Diana Desorcy (Léo), deceased); also by his sisters, Rita Charrière, Yvonne (Dollard) Levesque, Elise Lambert. Edmond was predeceased by wife Edna, his brothers, Armand, Joseph, Gérard, his sisters, Alice, Agnès, Annette, Armande, Fernande and Soeur Marie (Jeanne) and daughter-in-law Cécile Tougas. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the excellent care to our father from the staff of the Villa Youville Nursing Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father René E. Chartier at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne, Manitoba, on Thursday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will begin at 1:30 p.m. The service will terminate at the church. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edmond's memory to Villa Youville, 15 chemin Charriére, Ste. Anne, MB R5H 1C9.
